End of Year Activities

Dear Families,

We can’t believe that the school year is moving so quickly!  We hope this continues to be a fantastic school year for you and your child.  As a fun way of celebrating the last weeks of school, the students will be doing an “End of the year ABC Countdown.”  Your child is encouraged to participate in each days activities.  Please do not feel obligated to buy anything special to go with these days.  We think most items are things you already have at home.  Happy ABC’s and thank you again for all your support.

Time flies when you are having fun!

I am sad to say that our student teacher Miss Amanda has finished her internship with us.  However, we are happy to announce that she has become a regular teacher!  She will now be subbing at our school!

Welcome to our class Miss Amanda!

We were extremely happy to welcome Miss Amanda to our classroom!  We have heard so many wonderful things about this dynamic young lady, we are thrill to have her in our classroom!   

Hi! My Name is Amanda and I will be student teaching with Miss Lopez for the next two months.  I have had the pleasure of being a student teacher in different grades at Pierre de Coubertin since September and was actually a student here many years ago.  As you can well imagine, this brings back many fond memories!  I have seen many familiar faces and have had the opportunity to work with a great staff and have met some wonderful students. 

I have been studying at Concordia University for the past five years and will be graduating this June, something I am really looking forward to!  Working with children has always been a passion of mine and I am grateful for this opportunity.  I started working with class 403 this past week and they have already shown me how eager they are to learn.  They all made me feel very welcome from day one and I look forward to getting to know each and every one of them in the following weeks.
