Our munchkins have been exploring the difference between needs and wants while learning about the UNICEF Convention on the Rights of the Child. They have also been discussing the challenging decisions parents may face as they work to support and protect their children. This learning ties directly into our class novel, The Breadwinner, which provides powerful examples of these themes in action.
