Prime Factorization a.k.a Factor Trees

Math Antics video on Prime Factorization:



A Prime Number can be divided evenly only by 1 or itself.  It must be a whole number greater than 1.

The first few prime numbers are: 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, and 17. Use a prime number chart if you need more.
Prime Factorization

"Prime Factorization" is finding which prime numbers multiply together to make the original number.
Factors, so basically working on factor trees:)

"Factors" are the numbers you multiply together to get another number:
